What Would Your 15th Club Be?

Inspired by this recent story recounting the horrors of too-many-clubs-in-the-bag penalties, and the side-bar of the article. I'm wondering, if all of a sudden you were allowed, what club you would make the magical 15th in the bag? I think I would personally opt for a second gap wedge to dial in my distance control within 130 yards or so. I'm intrigued by the Golf Digest guys' ideas about a second driver or different bounced wedge. What do you all think? What club would you pick in this entirely pointless and imaginary exercise?

I have often subscribed to the old "If you can carry it, you can carry it." I like this rule.......no caddies. If you can physically carry your bag with 200 clubs in it, HAVE AT IT.

But on to the actual question at bar...........

I would choose an additional fairway wood. I am a short hitter so I have many times I am hitting an additional club vs my playing partners so I could use some other options at the top of the bag. Plus, there are a few par 3s that have become a bit long for me ha ha.

I would carry a lefty 6-iron. I can't tell me how many times i have needed a lefty club. no question in my mind.

I believe my 15th club would have to be the Macallen 18. It is refine, traditional, very smooth and forgiving in the truest Scottish sense!
