So. You have heard about it. I have heard about it. We have ALL heard about it. Every single shot a PGA player takes with a club that has a letter on it, we hear about it. Nick Faldo can’t go 3 sentences without talking about “when we played blah blah blah.”
It is the most misunderstood ruling in a looooooonnnnngggg time to come down from the omnipotent USGA, it is………

When buying new equipment, we all approach our purchase from one of many starting points. Some of us start with a certain price range in mind, some have a particular loyalty to their favorite brand. Others start their search based on reviews and word of mouth; and some are simply drawn in by the way a club looks. You can count me as one of the superficial who covet the look of a golf club first and foremost.

So you live in San Diego or Florida eh?? About this time every year I begin to not just feel jealous, but somewhat loathe you. Not YOU personally, but just……well you.
You get to live a life that others around the world vacation to. You get to golf year round.
Those of us that do not have this luxury are so jealous that we all just might mobilize and take over so that you can’t get a tee time ha ha ha. I kid, of course.

Sweet 16! In some cultures and in some families, turning 16 is a big deal. In fact, to some, turning 16 is bigger than any other birthday. I was not one of the families that did “Sweet 16s” so I never got to know the joy…….until Oct. 7th, 2009.
