The 5 Best Looking Clubs of ALL TIME pt. 3

So the award winners are in the post awards press conference crying about how important it is for their career and what their next projects are and we are moving on with the show. While the nominees are gushing about how great it was to be nominated with the rest of the great nominees, we are moving on to the putters portion of the nights festivities.
The winners for 5 best looking all time putters are….
1) Odyssey DF 550 putter
This was the best looking of the ORIGINAL Odyssey stuff. The classic blade design had the “Ping Zing” backing which provided extreme heel and toe weighting. The hosel was small and was bendable if you wanted to experiment with different lie angles. The stronomic insert was one of the crisper feeling inserts out there. This was my favorite putter for years…then I broke it and never replaced it. I am a moron.
2) Ping Tess putter
Any model, any insert, no insert, I don’t care. This is the blade model and it is VASTLY different from other blades out there. This blade is small and long. The shape is beautiful and, if thrown just right, can achieve multiple skips off the cart path.
3) Ram Zebra Mallet putter
The only Mallet on the list was the best looking. It had 2 models, a deep face and a thin, shallow, face. I liked the shallow face best. The shallow was gray in color and the deep was white. They both had numerous directional lines on them and looked great at address. There were customizable sole weights back when there were no customizable weights. A great looking putter.
4) Scotty Cameron TEI3 Newport putter
The list could NOT be complete without a Scotty Cameron. While the Newport has been done for years since, this model was the only one in the gun metal black finish and the copper insert. The contrast in color made the putter POP! The view from the top gave you one of the most traditional shapes and appearances of any putter on the list. A real work of art.
5) Odyssey White Hot Tour Series #1 putter
The classic heel/toe weighted style is nothing new, but this putter combines a glare resistant gold finish with the firmer insert that Odyssey produces. I like the way that the white insert plays off the gold finish and the head cover might be the best of the bunch. Jet black with gold highlights….very sexy!
Hey! I have a deep-faced black zeebra. It’s STILL the putter I go back to about once every-other year if/when I get the yips. Best. putter. ever.
